Eat Well to Live Well
“Good food” typically doesn’t come to mind when thinking about retirement living. At Ecumenical Retirement Community, we work hard to break those stereotypes. We appreciate that our retirement living residents look forward to a meal as it’s a time to see friends and neighbors and enjoy a delicious entrée.
Our dining experience provides you with a variety of healthy, freshly prepared meals, three times a day. Our recipes incorporate fresh ingredients and locally grown produce as well as regional flavors and resident favorites. The menu selection allows you to choose items based upon your dietary needs and personal preferences.
At each meal residents can choose from several featured entrées as well as an alternate choice of baked seafood, breast of chicken or vegetarian entrées at lunch. A salad bar of fresh vegetables, fruits and salads is available at lunch and supper. Dinner includes two soups made from scratch. Fresh bread and rolls are baked each day by in-house bakers. A highlight of both lunch and supper is an array of delicious desserts prepared daily.
Residents and their friends and family enjoy occasional Sunday brunches, often featuring omelet, waffle or carving stations. Fresh fruit, cookies, ice cream, juices, coffee and tea are available for you and your guests throughout the day and evening.
The meal is just part of our dining experience. Before joining their friends tableside, many residents socialize and catch up with neighbors at happy hour.
Our menu offers a variety of choices at each meal every day. Click here for a sample menu.
